My Expectations

I work to build a mutual desire to learn and experience the world. I will work out a STUDENT SOCIAL CONTRACT regarding what students believe the consequences for certain behaviors should be, but there are some non-negociables. See the Home for an understanding of the bigger ideas and why these matter.

1. To feel belonging, power, freedom and fun while learning!

Education, skills and learning are the most powerful tools any person can have in the competitive world around us. In order to really learn students must feel safe and comfortable in the classroom for that even to happen.

This is your education, and I want to make sure that each of my students gets as far as they can wit hthe skill set they have.

2. Academic integrity

Academic dishonesty (plagiarism, copying, etc.) will result in a zero for the assignment for the 1st offense, and a failing grade in the class for the second offense.

3. Late assignments

All late work will receive an automatic 20% off without an excused absence (a note from your parent/guardian, doctor, etc.). If it is more than a week late it will receive 50% off. After it is a week late you may not turn it in for credit.
